Our Volvo EC490 Bucket is designed specifically for 50-ton tracked excavators, boasting a 3.5 cubic meter capacity for easily loading large volumes of earth, rock, or ore. Whether it's foundation earthmoving, rock excavation, loading after crushing in mines, or heavy-duty stone loading and unloading operations, the Volvo EC490 Bucket demonstrates excellent load-bearing capacity and stability.
Product Advantages
- High Efficiency: The 3.5 m³ bucket capacity, combined with the 50-ton machine's capabilities, allows for the handling of more material per load, increasing work efficiency.
- Longer Service Life: We use high-strength, wear-resistant steel plates as the main structural material. These plates have several times the wear resistance of ordinary structural steel, enabling them to withstand high-wear and high-impact working environments such as sand, gravel, and ore.
- Precision Welding: The heavy-duty bucket undergoes strict control in design and welding. Weld dimensions and positioning strictly adhere to design standards to ensure load-bearing strength and structural stability, preventing deformation or cracking even under harsh working conditions.
- High Applicability: Designed specifically for tracked construction machinery, the bucket combines versatility and durability, making it ideal for various working conditions in construction, mining, and infrastructure.
Process and Manufacturing
- Material Selection: The bucket body is constructed from high-strength, wear-resistant steel plates (such as NM400 or equivalent wear-resistant steel). This material combines high hardness with sufficient toughness, making it ideal for heavy-duty, high-wear earth and rock working environments. For high-wear areas such as the cutting edge, bucket bottom, and side plates, additional wear-resistant liners or thickened steel plates can be used to extend service life and reduce maintenance frequency.
- Cutting and Forming: The steel plates are processed into the required shapes using laser or plasma cutting equipment, ensuring dimensional accuracy. Subsequently, the side plates and bottom plates of the bucket body are formed through cold bending or hot bending, giving the bucket optimal geometric strength and loading efficiency.
- Welding and Assembly: High-quality welding processes (such as MIG/arc welding) are used in key areas. The weld leg size and depth are controlled according to design requirements to ensure structural strength. After welding, an overall acceptance and calibration process is conducted to ensure the bucket's fit with the robotic arm, pins, and other components after installation.
Surface Treatment
- After welding and grinding, the entire bucket undergoes rust removal, grinding, and is coated with an anti-corrosion/rust-proof coating. This not only extends the bucket's lifespan but also enhances its oxidation and corrosion resistance, adapting to various working environments (wet, muddy, ore, etc.).
- For special customer requirements, customized processes such as adding replaceable wear-resistant liners or thickened blades can be implemented to adapt to harsher or high-wear scenarios.
Quality Control and Inspection
Before each bucket leaves the factory, it undergoes rigorous testing: weld seams, geometric dimensions, fit accuracy, steel plate hardness/thickness, and liner welding quality all meet standards.
