Core Materials
1. Metals
- Stainless steel (SS) – Common grades like 304 or 316 are used for structural frames and drip trays due to corrosion resistance, hygienic surface, and ease of cleaning
- Cold-rolled or galvanized steel – Used with powder coating for a durable, rust-resistant finish
- Aluminum extrusions or sheet – Lightweight yet strong, often combined with steel for stability .
2. Plastics
- ABS and PP (Polypropylene) – Used for dispenser holders, pump housings, and protective casings for sensors
- EVA pads – Soft padding under baseplates to reduce slipping
3. Wood/Laminates (Occasionally)
- Plywood with HPL (High Pressure Laminate) – Found in some premium stands for an aesthetic, easy-to-clean surface
Processing Technologies
A. Metal Fabrication
- Laser cutting – Accurate shaping of sheet metal panels
- CNC punching & bending – High-precision forming of frames and brackets
- Welding (TIG, MIG, laser) – Assemblage of metal tubing and base components
- Polishing – finishing stainless surfaces .
- Powder coating & plating – Highly durable, corrosion-resistant finishes often with antimicrobial additives
B. Plastic Fabrication
- Injection molding – Often used for dispenser housings (ABS/PP).
- Shutter-proof ABS case – For protecting electronics and tablets
- Assembly of plastic components – Includes snap-fit, adhesives, or screws for housings.
C. Electronics Integration
- Infrared (IR) touchless sensors – Installed in pump heads for automatic dispensing
- Peristaltic or pump mechanisms – Durable and chemically-resistant pumps, sometimes adjustable via remote control
- Power options – Battery or transformer powered (9–12 V)
D. Base & Stability Design
- Weighted steel base – Often 17 kg or more to prevent tipping
- Anti-slip EVA feet – Provide stability and prevent movement .
