Processing
1. Raw Material Inspection: Food-grade stainless steel (commonly 304/316) is selected and first inspected for chemical composition and appearance.
2. CNC Forming: The spiral blades are initially formed using a CNC lathe or sheet metal forming machine, ensuring consistent pitch and waist height.
3. Welding and Forming: Argon arc welding and other processes are used for joints to ensure uniform and strong welds. Argon shielded welding is performed where necessary to reduce oxidation.
4. Finishing: The spiral blades and shaft are finish-turned, deburred, and machined to ensure concentricity and clearance.
Final Inspection
- Mechanical Polishing: Removes rough burrs and achieves a basic finish to facilitate initial cleaning.
- Electrolytic Polishing: Further improves the finish of the Stainless Steel Conveyor Screw Metal Auger, closes micropores, and reduces the risk of bacterial attachment. It is commonly used in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
