Processing Technology
- Material Selection:304 (general purpose) or 316 (marine/chemical environment) stainless steel is recommended depending on the operating environment. Common thicknesses are 0.8mm–3.0mm; custom thicknesses can be made according to drawings.
- Material Cutting and Forming: Laser cutting or CNC punching is used for material cutting to ensure the accuracy of hole positions and shapes. The required three-dimensional shape is then achieved using CNC bending machines, roll forming, or deep drawing.
- Precision Welding: Main components are fixed together using TIG/MIG welding or spot welding. Welding processes can be selected from automatic or manual welding depending on appearance requirements. Welds are ground smooth to ensure strength and aesthetics. For parts with extremely high appearance requirements, we use molten pool control and multi-pass welding processes to reduce deformation and color difference.
- Grinding and Shaping: Welds and edges are mechanically ground and finely hand-finished to ensure no burrs or flash, ensuring safe and easy installation.
- Surface Treatment: Mirror polishing, brushing (hairline finish), sandblasting, or electropolishing (electroplated polishing) are performed according to customer requirements. Chemical passivation/acid pickling can also be performed to improve corrosion resistance. For colored or special protective layers, powder coating or coating treatments can also be applied (depending on the workpiece and application).
- Quality Inspection: Each batch of products undergoes dimensional inspection, visual inspection, and necessary corrosion resistance tests (such as salt spray tests) and strength tests to ensure a high pass rate.
Surface Treatment
- Mirror Polishing: High reflectivity, easy to clean, suitable for applications requiring high decorative appeal.
- Brushed/Sandblasted: Low reflectivity, high-end feel, fingerprint resistant, suitable for public facilities and interior decoration.
- Sandblasting/Matte Finish: Conceals minor scratches, resulting in a more sophisticated appearance.
- Electropolishing: Reduces surface roughness, improves corrosion resistance and stain resistance, commonly used in the food or medical fields.
- Chemical Passivation/Pickling: Removes weld residue and blackening layer, restoring the corrosion resistance of the stainless steel body.
- Powder Coating: Offers color options and an additional protective layer (for outdoor or decorative use).
