Machining Process
- CNC Cutting and Precision Blanking: The bucket body plates are first blanked using CNC plasma cutting or laser cutting to ensure precise and consistent dimensions for each steel plate.
- Robotic Welding / Manual Welding: Critical load-bearing components (such as the jaw mount, reinforcing ribs, and bucket wall) are welded robotically or manually by experienced welders to ensure weld quality and structural robustness.
- Bending / Forming: The bucket wall, bottom plate, and side plates are formed using large bending equipment to achieve optimal geometry for improved load-bearing capacity and digging efficiency.
- Heat Treatment: Preheating or post-heat treatment is performed on some critical high-stress areas to alleviate residual welding stress and improve fatigue resistance.
Surface Treatment
- Sandblasting and Rust Removal: After all steel welding is completed, sandblasting is used to remove the surface oxide layer and impurities, laying a good foundation for the subsequent protective layer.
- Primer + Anti-rust Coating: A high-performance primer is sprayed to enhance the metal's corrosion resistance and reduce the corrosive effects of the mining environment on the metal surface.
- Abrasion-resistant Coating / Weld Overlay: Weld overlay or wear-resistant alloy weld overlay can be used on bucket teeth, bucket bottom, and high-wear areas to form a highly wear-resistant layer on the surface.
